Had a learning curve catching up on my electronics.  Some I c 's was flipped upside down but managed to get a nice configuration to fit. I could have crammed alot more to make space. Maybe I'll do a second one. Dreaming of having a nice oscilloscope now.

Great to see more home built detectors being "born".  Louis down in Saldanha has built quite a few.  Will follow your progress with interest. :)

Now I wonder why not ? ( the smoke tests can not be the only reason me thinks )

The last time he tried to solder, he had a few beers and blew the whole thing up. LOL

what kind of circuit is this PI VLF ? do you have the schematic  diagram with parts list?  One thing I dont like is the vero board hard to solder and have to make your own tracks cant seem to find. opper plated boards here in witbank O and one more thing could you tell me what kind of schematic software your using please last time I build a PI and tried to solder it on the vero board I blew all ghe IC,s so had to make a boer maak n plan and left it on the bread board no soldering needed lol please email me ghe details to johanvandermerwe113@gmail.com

Here's the current progress. The bandido halfway done. Jumper wire mayhem.

Considering a redesign now that I have a physical model.

Hopefully all goes well.

Using freeware expressPCB and expressSCH.

Has a few quirks. Would have loved to work on Altium software.

Die komponente werk so R700 uit al. Nognie so selfvertroud om iemand se geld te vat nie al moet ek maar krap vir sente op die oomblik. Sodra ek weer werk het. Bou ek vir jou ook een.
