Detect the magnetic fields of magnetized markers, manholes, septic tanks, well casings, valve boxes, cast iron pipes, steel drums, and unexploded ordnance.
These magnetic locators are better than metal detectors when searching for ferrous metal objects as you will get much improved depth (up to 6 metres depth depending on the size of the object and soil conditions)
