October Competition - Completed.
« on: September 28, 2014, 07:37 PM »
Post your super find(s) for the month, members will vote with the "like" button. Most likes at the end of the month is the winner.
RULE CHANGE: You can add "likes" to the photos but they will NOT count as votes. I will place a poll at the end of the month after entries close, whereby everyone will get the chance to cast only one vote.

Sadly, we cant offer any prizes - this competition is just for the fun of it.
Flemish Hunter has very kindly offered to donate a prize to the winner of the October Competition. Prize is a 1745 coin from the Austrian Hungarian Empire.

Winners find will be showcased in the FINDS Hall of Fame thread and on the Treasure Hunters Facebook group:
http://treasurehunters.co.za/forums/show-your-finds/finds-hall-of-fame/

RULES for the October competition:

Your find(s) MUST have been found within the month of October 2014 or from 29-30th of September 2014.

Entries close on 28th October, voting closes end of the month. 31 October 2014, thereafter a poll will go up for 5 days of voting. This makes it more fair for the guys who put up photos on the last few days as well as the fact that you cannot see who is in the lead etc which may swing your vote.

Found this beauty buried under a 4 mm brass plate which I'm sure was put there to protect it!!....Its made from solid brass and depicts what I think is Cinderella befriending a frog and has a serial number stamped on the underside.....I don't normally dig such big signals but I plan to in the future!
