Lol Shaun. Plug in the earphones mate......It blocks the noises....Hehehehe

Have to agree with you...Thanks Pushing Tin and all our active and participating forum members. If it wasn't for all of you I probably would not have known what I know now about our awesome hobby. Coil to the soil mates.

I concur - Brilliant site!
It is so Kewl to have a place to come to, to realise that you are not totally alone in what you think and do - reminds me of Johnny OneShoe's "Conversations with myself"  http://treasurehunters.co.za/forums/general-discussion/conversation-with-myself
:)
To dig, or not to dig? - That is the question! (JamesK - Circa 2014)

Thanks guys, really appreciate the kind words.

To see my original idea of creating an online community, a place where we could all share ideas and knowledge, meet new people, find hunting buddies etc turn into reality is really amazing.

Thanks of course, goes to each one of you for signing up, participating in posts and making the community what it is today - lets hope we grow in leap and bounds.

As for "Tin Cup", people always seem to get it mistaken with "Pushing Tin" - so just to clarify:

Tin Cup is the golfing movie whereas Pushing Tin is the movie about air traffic controllers :)

I must say, upon deciding that this was what I wanted to do in my spare time, besides fishing of course, this site made all the difference... The articles and posts by seasoned 'hunters' was incredibly helpful. The time taken to post photo's of finds motivated me to get out and start searching...

Thank you for an excellent site...  ;)

So true Zulu X...... I had a similar experience when I started detecting just over a year ago. I am where I am today in terms of the hobby through this site and the people here that inspired me to do more and learn more.
