Rank names suggestions
« on: July 26, 2014, 01:49 PM »
Hi

I would like to change the rank naming that we currently use.

At the moment if you have less than 50 posts you are a "newbie", then goes to "Jr. member", "Sr. member" etc which are all pretty boring...

Some suggestions please...

Pullring... Bottle cap..... tin can.... half cent...R5.... etc
Or maybe we could start from Bounty hunter...Teknetics...Garret...Fisher... and all the way up to Minelab ;)
Digging up history - one pullring at a time.

Just got to love Minelab ;)

We can go for Value of coins:
Farthing, 1/2 Penny, Penny, Tickey, Sixpence, Shilling, 2 Shilling, Half Crown, Five Shilling.

Or Coin Grading
Good, Very Good, Fine, Very fine, Extremely Fine, Almost Uncirculated, Uncirculated, Proof

Or The metals:
Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum

To dig, or not to dig? - That is the question! (JamesK - Circa 2014)

You could also considder changing membership status to experience status using rating terms such as:

Experience: Rookie / Novice
Experience: Intermediate
Experience: Proficient
Experience: Advanced
Experience: Senior
Experience: World Class
Experience: Professional
Experience: Specialist
Experience: Expert
Experience: Master
Experience: Old School

Just a thought ::)
